"To burn always with this hard, gem-like flame, to maintain this ecstasy, is success in life"

- Walter Pater

THE RETREAT

We invite you to dive into nature, movement, breath and dance. In this stunning, remote location we find the freedom to stop, drop the outer world and dive into internal space. Through a delicately designed programme of somatic movement, sound, dance, breathwork and creative play we meet ourselves in moments of deep connection, listening intently to the voice of body and spirit. In these surroundings we surrender into the safety of being truly held by nature, each other and our own selves.

Our programme invites the calm your mind craves, the soothing your nervous system needs and the excitement your soul desires. The work is balanced with delicious, nourishing food, an infrared sauna, a heated swimming pool and divine nature walks.

We couldn't really ask for more.

THE FOOD

Let's face it. We all love good food and deep work requires a reward. We are delighted to have The Healing Kitchen taking care of all our catering needs, providing mouth watering, healthy vegetarian food all weekend. Any dietary requirements can be catered for so just let us know.

THE ACCOMMODATION

Deep rest is is a vital part of the deep reset. Which is why we've chosen a venue with beautifully designed, cosy accommodation. The house is its very own mystical tardis, with rooms appearing out of nowhere. There are multiple bathrooms (several en suite) and, if you're looking for that extra bit of privacy/luxury, you can opt for either one of the private rooms or Palmers Lodge annexe for a little bit extra. Great if you're sharing with a partner or friend.

THE RESET

Our reset programme challenges us to meet ourselves honestly and authentically through a variation of practices that encourage nervous system regulation. This allows us to release the survival strategies and obstacles that create barriers between us and the life we want to live. Each modality has been specifically chosen as part of a wider design that attends to all parts of our physiology. Mind, emotion, body and spirit. Although the work is gentle, it is also intended to assist personal breakthroughs, which is why we make sure you have great food and plenty of downtime to calibrate and integrate the work.

BREATHWORK

Breathwork is a fast growing modality due to its profound effects on the nervous system. Working consciously with the breath can aid the release of trapped memories and trauma. In a professionally facilitated workshop, you will be guided through a powerful breathwork session, aiding you to let go of stuck emotions and memories from the past, to leave you feeling enlivened and released.

SOMATIC MOVEMENT

An upset nervous system can play havoc with our health and wellbeing. Unfortunately modern day life doesn't exactly cater for our nervous system needs and often our bodies are negatively affected by sitting at desks, poor posture and a general lack of movement. Our nervous system relies upon a multitude of micro movements to reset itself and when we focus on somatic movement we learn that subtle, gentle changes can make a big difference. Here we explore ways to enhance our energy and wellbeing by working consciously with somatic movement, allowing us to loosen up and embody ourselves far more deeply.

ECSTATIC DANCE

Ecstatic Dance is a widely loved movement modality that combines our natural love of music with powerful somatic release and deep meditation. For 90 minutes we drop from the mind to body, allowing intuitive movement to take over as we glide from slow, melodic sounds towards high energy, blood pumping beats and back again. The intelligently designed rise and fall creates a subconscious journey which can take us to states of natural ecstasy. Think of it as somewhere between meditation and a rave! A highly enjoyable way to let go of stuck energy and find your centre.

SOUND BATH

Just as dancing brings us back to ourselves, so does stillness. Sound baths bathe us in a multitude of vibrations via the tones and frequencies of various instruments. In a state of relaxation, these vibrations engage with the body, correcting energetic and physical blockages. It is often incredibly soothing and replenishing for the nervous system.

SELF INQUIRY

We will workshop with a special exercise in self inquiry that encourages us to open and confront ourselves on a more honest level. It is a beautifully harmonising experience that helps us deepen our relationship to ourselves.

CACAO CEREMONY

Grown largely in the South Americas, Cacao has been used for thousands of years as a way to connect communities to share joyously and openly in love and celebration. We will work with the medicine of Cacao, connecting with its powerful spirit to engage our deeply with ourselves, each other and the surrounding nature.
